Sarah Stephens
Founder and CEO
Message from the Founder:
“With over two decades of international experience, as a UK-qualified solicitor, academic, and international development practitioner, I bring expertise in gender equality, justice sector reform, and strategy development.”
I am dedicated to advancing access to justice, public policy, and social transformation. My work is driven by a commitment to disrupt inequality through innovative approaches, from establishing a pro-bono clinic at a top-ten City law firm to strengthening grassroots legal support in East Africa. Recently, I have focused on developing justice-tech tools to improve service delivery for underserved communities. Leading international teams, I have demonstrated strong organizational leadership, strategic insight, and integrity, building organizations that balance profit with social purpose. My recent consultancy work with United Nations agencies exemplifies this, leveraging digital transformation for social development across low- and middle-income countries. Alongside running my consultancy and completing a doctorate in justice technology, I teach legal innovation at the University of Sussex (UK). In the UK, I actively promote access to justice through innovation, serving on expert panels and advisory boards to create an enabling environment for access to justice alongside delivering several justice innovation projects in sub-Saharan Africa”.
